Job Description
As a team of three, we expand our carrier network and enhance solutions for our customers. In this role, you will acquire new logistics service providers across Europe and build strong commercial partnerships in freight forwarding. Our goal is to secure the best rates with top operational performance for our tailor-made cross-border logistics solutions.
Your main responsibilities:
- Being responsible for the strategic purchasing process of road freight transport services (FTL, LTL, groupage)
- Calculating the prices for European road freight transports
- Managing the existing network of transport partners, supporting the development of our transport solutions, and conducting performance reviews with your partners
- Working closely across teams with our Supply Chain Planning, Freight Operations, and Parcel Logistics teams
- Taking part in projects to optimise and automate processes
Qualifications
This is what you need to succeed
- +1 year of experience in European road freight purchasing or operations management
- Strong communication skills, a proactive mindset with a sense of ownership, and a genuine motivation to learn and grow within the logistics field
- Good knowledge of MS Office products
- Fluent English skills, German skills (min B2)
